Open Call!
Climate Beacon 2025 Roundtable Discussions
Climate Beacon believes there is power in convening. When you have the opportunity to bring leaders and decision-makers together with experts and practitioners, great change and impact is possible. At Climate Beacon 2025 our Roundtable discussions are designed to do just that — these are the short, dialogue-rich programs that introduce our attendees to the ideas, solutions, and partners that can help them take action. But before we settle all of our programming, we want your input and insights. This is an open call for Round Table discussion topics that you think we should cover at Climate Beacon 2025.
Take a minute to read the specifics below and then submit your concept in the following section. All submissions are due by May 22 and we will be in contact by early June to discuss potential next steps in the planning process.
Roundtable Discussions will all happen on October 23 at our conference location in downtown Boston (TBD). Roundtable spaces will be built for approximately 25 attendees and each roundtable will be scheduled for 60 minutes, including networking time. Each roundtable will include a moderator or facilitator and one or two experts on the topic. The moderator will begin the session, ask the experts to give a few minutes of remarks, and then open the session up for facilitated discussion.
In 2025 all Roundtable Discussions will fall into two broad categories:
1) Scaling Innovation into Practice: Focused on the climate innovations and solutions that we must scale faster now to create a better future, including what those innovations are, how they can scale, and what’s next.
2) Investing in a Better Future for Everyone: Focused on the varied forms of investment (financial, political, and otherwise) that we must make today so that we can create a more resilient tomorrow.
We welcome you to submit ideas for either or both, and if you aren’t quite sure, submit your idea anyway and we will follow up! Please send any questions you may have to candoers@climatebeacon.org
